The designated spokespersons, Prof. Dr. Ralf Ludwig, Dr. Jola Pospech, and Prof. Dr. Torsten Beweries form together with a student representative the board of the RTG which decides on overarching issues and funds. At the beginning of the funding period, the PhD students will elect the student representative and two deputies as peer contact person. Elections will be done once a year. The student representative is obliged to organize formal and informal meetings (problem sessions, student seminars, peer group gatherings, etc.) and communicate student affairs and interests to the PIs and administrative staff.
