I was born close to Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and moved to Rostock for my physics studies in 2011. After an internship at Trumpf in Ditzingen, Baden-Württemberg, and a research stay at Princeton University, New Jersey USA, I finished my PhD in experimental physics in 2024 in the group of Stefan Lochbrunner with the topic ‘Ultrafast photoinduced exiton dynamics in organic micro- and nanostructures’. Afterwards I started as a PostDoc in the group of Ralf Ludwig where I am now engaged in realizing time-resolved IR-spectroscopy in project P4.2.
