At an early stage, at the beginning of the graduate program, the doctoral students are involved in an informal get-to-know-your peer group event with all doctoral students of the RTG.
The RTG will host an annual two-day seminar on additional non-scientific qualification courses that will be attended in the peer group. Optional topics include mediation, negotiation strategies, and training in scientific  communication to a non-specialist audience. The topics will be determined in the peer group. The organization of the non-scientific events is increasingly the responsibility of the doctoral students as the RTG progresses.
